Principle tasks
The post holder is required to undertake the following tasks:
- To build and maintain excellent relationships with local businesses.
- To generate sales and meet the sales target through advertising and programme sponsorship.
- To maintain a portfolio of advertisers and sponsors for Radio24.
- To assist in the development of other business opportunities Radio24 such as promotions, merchandising and commercial partnerships.
- To work with our creative & research team to ensure advertisements and sponsorship announcements/promo/ads match client needs and expectations.
- To undertake such other tasks as may be reasonably required.
Requirements
- Malaysian citizens aged 25-30 years old
- Minimum Diploma in Marketing or Business Studies or Bachelor Degree in any fields
- amiable and pleasant personality
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- an interest in media and broadcasting
- experience of dealing with diverse businesses
- word processing, computer and office skills
- ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- willing and strong initiative to uphold the aims and objectives of Radio24
- ability to set up and maintain clear filing systems and records
- motivated and able to work under own initiative
- commitment to and understanding of equal opportunities
- possesses own transport
Desirable skills and experience
- previous experience in media sales
- proven and effective sales performance
- ability to converse in Chinese dialects or in other languages would be an
